Songs of Praise

Sunday 29th January saw the first event of our 50th anniversary year. With a full church and everyone in fine voice our celebrations started with a wide selection of hymns and choruses. These were introduced by members of the congregation telling us the significance of the piece. Some choices were reminders of loved ones no longer with us, others were significant songs for both young and old when they first came to know God. Terry introduced the photographic timeline which stimulated many good memories.

Listed below are the 14 chosen songs. There were many others submitted but it was not possible to select them all. They will be sung during the coming year's events and services.
